Accoya Shadow Gap cladding combines durability with a modern, sophisticated aesthetic, ideal for exterior and interior applications. Treated through an acetylation process, Accoya is highly resistant to rot, insects, and weathering, offering a low-maintenance solution that stands the test of time.
The Shadow Gap profile adds depth and clean, linear lines, elevating contemporary designs with a sleek, architectural look. Accoya’s exceptional stability minimizes warping, swelling, and shrinking, ensuring a smooth, consistent finish even in challenging climates. Its light, versatile colour can be easily stained or painted to fit any design preference. Sustainably sourced, Accoya Shadow Gap cladding is perfect for builders and architects seeking a reliable, eco-friendly material that enhances both form and function.
Board Run
It's important to tell us which way your cladding will be running as depending on the desired orientation of your cladding, the timber needs to be cut differently.
Vertical run cladding naturally channels water downwards, however if cut incorrectly horizontal profile boards may trap water inside the shadow gaps, making it more susceptible to weather-related issues like rot. To combat this, horizontal boards are cut with a slight angle in the gaps to help the water run off, while vertical boards retain a nice crisp edge.
