    A Featheredge gate is a type of garden gate constructed using featheredge boards, which are tapered wooden boards that are thicker on one edge and thinner on the other.

    This gate is pressure-treated with Green Lonza treatment, for enhanced protection against the elements.

    Our Padstow gate is made from high-quality Mixed Softwood.

    How do I fit your Padstow Featheredge gate?

    Installing yourself? We have made an easy, thorough installation guide for our Garden Gates, which you can find here.

    How often do I need to treat my gate?

    We strongly recommend treating your garden gate with UV protection at least every 12 months, when the gate is dry. This is to protect your gate against weather related issues such as warping, twists etc. If you are signed up to our email marketing, you will receive a yearly reminder of this!

    Can I paint my gate?

    You can! You can only use water-based paint on our gates, however, and you will need to ensure the gate is as dry as possible before painting. We do recommend applying UV protection to the gate prior to painting also.

    What does left/right hand hung mean?

    This refers to which side you would like the hinges on, looking at the gate from the roadside (on the side without the bracing, e.g the 'smooth' side). We need to know this as this affects the way the gate is manufactured.

    What hinges and posts do I need for this gate?

    If you select the sizes you require, underneath the measurements you will find the suggested hinges and posts for your gate. Simply click 'Add to cart'.

    How long will it take to get my order?

    A large majority of our gates are on a 5-10 working day lead time!

    What shipping couriers do you use?

    We use our own fleet of delivery drivers to ensure the best service!

    Our drivers are more than happy to leave your goods in a safe place!

    Your order will be fully trackable, with a 1 hour time slot provided! Our tracking app will allow you to see the progress of the driver throughout the day.
