Expertly crafted by our team of special joiners here in the heart of the Devon countryside, our Iroko 5 bar entrance gate. The perfect modern looking gate to add elegance and a touch of luxury to your home entrances. You may also use this iroko 5 bar gate for field entrances and yards.
Made using one of the most attractive and durable species of timber. Iroko derives from tropical Africa with tones of yellowy brown and overtime turning darker to a more golden colour; the perfect timber species when wanting to make a statement and create a simply stunning driveway or side entrance.
Made using mortise & tenon techniques, this gate is extremely vigorous, sturdy and able to withstand the harshest of weathers. Untreated due to the natural hardwearing properties of iroko.
The 5 bars provide a durable and sturdy structure that will for many many years. Our 3,4, and 5-foot gates have a diagonal cross brace whereas all other sizes have a diamond brace, doing it this way provides great strength to all sizes of our gates.
Our Iroko gates are supplied untreated due to the natural hardwearing properties of the wood. However, in order to maintain colour and prevent moisture entering the wood we advise all our gates are given a UV treatment (such as OSMO Clear Oil) once installed and on an ongoing basis as part of standard maintenance. Please see our Iroko Maintenance Blog and Terms & Conditions (Section 4) for more information.
Please Note: This product is specifically manufactured upon order placement and falls under our "Made-To-Measure" product range. We encourage you to review our Terms and Conditions (Section 2) before placing an order, as they detail guidance regarding orders, returns, and cancellations for "Made-To-Measure" product range.
Wooden gates are susceptible to warping if not appropriately handled and maintained. We encourage you to read our 'Why Do Gates Warp' page and Terms and Conditions for advice on how to prevent this. We cannot be held liable for any issues with your timber, such as cracking, twisting and/or warping, if the advice provided on these pages are not followed.
