        Description

Our Planed 6"x1" larch provides a really smooth and aesthetically pleasing look. The finish is first class creating a structure that is neat, tidy and professional. Larch is tough and durable, making it ideal for exposed elevations and areas where knocks and scrapes are likely. Ideal for various sheds, summerhouses and outbuildings. Popular with its great natural modern look.

Larch has been known and used for years as one of the most durable softwoods available. It's naturally rot-resistant will last many years. Being such a dense wood, the larch doesn't need treatment but can be stained to keep it's naturally red/pink colour. A great modern looking timber for all outdoor buildings, especially with outdoor office or sheds.

A sustainable timber that is sourced in the UK very often In Devon! Largely reducing the carbon footprint.

The only real difference between Homegrown larch Cladding and Imported is Homegrown has a much more open grain, giving a more rustic appearance – that many customers actually prefer – starting with the usual red/brown colour and ‘silvering’ over time as it weathers.

Home-grown larch is much faster grown and has regular beautiful small & large knots sometimes up to 50mm and when machined can sometimes be slightly fluffy especially around knots.
