It is made from premium Joinery Grade Scandinavian Redwood, which is also pre-treated for longevity!

50mm x 25mm timber is the closest equivalent to a 2x1 timber, although the exact measurements differ slightly (a 2x1 timber is actually 50.8mm x 25.4mm)

If treated and maintained properly, Redwood can last 10-15 years

Whilst you could use our 2x1 Redwood cladding internally, we would recommend only using this cladding externally.
