Please Note: *The pergola comes without a waterproof roof membrane so will not be waterproof. If you would like to make it waterproof, you can simply apply a waterproof roof membrane, available here. Feet are not included in accessories but are an optional extra.

This product is specifically manufactured upon order placement and falls under our "Made-To-Measure" product range. We encourage you to review our Terms and Conditions (Section 2) before placing an order, as they detail guidance regarding orders, returns, and cancellations for "Made-To-Measure" product range.

If the posts are going into ground contact we would always recommend applying Bitumen to the part that is in the ground and sitting just above it. This will help protect timber from rotting. This will available when you add to cart or here.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here’s what we get asked most often.

What is a 4 Pitch Pergola?

A 4 Pitch Apex Roof, or commonly known as a 4-Point, is a roof that has 4 sides that meet at the top to form a 'cone' shape.

Do you make bespoke pergolas?

We absolutely do! Just like our gates and fencing, we can make completely bespoke pergolas. If you'd like a quote for your measurements, please contact our Sales team on 01409 231 763 or sales@ruby-group.co.uk.

Is your Treated Featheredge pergola weatherproof?

If a weatherproof membrane is used, an adequately maintained with Osmo Oil, our pergola are weatherproof.

What is the difference between an Apex Pergola and a 4 Pitch Apex Pergola?

An Apex roof pergola is a pergola that has roof with two slopes that form an “A” shape, with the “apex” being the high point or peak where the slopes meet in the middle. Whereas, our 4 pitch pergola form a 'cone' shape, with the 4 sides meeting at the middle.

What is a Treated Featheredge roofing?

Our Treated Featheredge roofing is made from pressure-treated Redwood Featheredge boards. Featheredge is a sawn board cut on the diagonal to produce a tapered length that is overlapped when fitted.

Are the components pressure treated?

Yes! All the components of the pergola are pressure-treated, including the roofing. This is to protect the timber against decay, ensuring longevity.

Does the gazebo arrive fully assembled?

The Gazebo does not arrive fully assembled, however we have created in-depth manuals to guide you on assembly - so whether you're a keen DIY enthusiast or a profession fitter, you can construct our pergolas yourself. You can find these manuals on the specification table on each listing.

Can I paint my pergola?

You can! You can only use water-based paint on our pergolas, however, and you will need to ensure the pergola is as dry as possible before painting. We do recommend applying UV protection prior to painting also.

What maintenance is required?

We highly recomend treating your pergola at least every 6 months with Osmo Oil, to protect your gazebo against the elements and against decay. We also reccomend checking your pergola every so often and removing any built-up dirt and grime.

How long does your Gazebos last?

Our Gazebos can last anywhere from 10-20 years if properly maintained.

Is shipping free?

Delivery is free on all orders over £150! We offer this service to all our UK mainland customers If you are located outside mainland UK, please contact us for a quote!
